Invitation from SACIA Board Chair

Dear Friends,

The Southern African Communications Industries Association (SACIA) is delighted that its 10th anniversary celebration will coincide with the launch of the COMMTREND conference taking place at the Gallagher Conference Centre in Midrand from 22-23 October 2019. The event will showcase leading industry practitioners coming together to explore the trends and technologies shaping the future of the entertainment and communications industry.

Over the last decade, SACIA has established itself as the leading body for the communications and entertainment sector across Southern Africa. The three-day COMMTREND conference will feature presentations, discussions and workshops in which the social and technical trends shaping the communications industry will be unpacked and explored at the highest level. The SACIA 10th anniversary gala dinner will recognise and honour the great work done by its members and colleagues since its establishment in 2009.

The COMMTREND conference is structured to attract thought leaders from across the media and ICT sector, and to generate extensive coverage in specialist publications and the broader media.

Key to planning this high-profile conference is the commitment to collaborate with several local and international associations, thereby ensuring that it delivers the latest knowledge and insight to the African market. Delegates can look forward to a unique, high-impact event that combines knowledge with entertainment in a celebration of excellence.

Yours sincerely,
Stephen Motau
Chair: SACIA Board
